A three vehicle accident sends four to local hospitals with multiple injuries. The call came in just before 11 am this morning at the intersection of Calton and Springfield. Fire emergency crews responded with 3 ambulances and a fire truck to aid the injured. After initial treatment, crews transported 4 patients for further treatment.

City Fire and Police host Bike Rodeo
The City of Laredo Fire and Police Department would like to invite the general public to attend this year’s “Bike Rodeo” to be held this Saturday, June 2, 2007, at the Mall del Norte parking lot between JC Penny and Dillard’s from 9 am to 6pm. Parents are encouraged to bring their children and have a great time and learn important bike safety tips. Participants will be eligible for door prizes. This free program is for children ages 6 -14 (Remember to bring your helmet). Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Car accident kills one and sends another to the Hospital
Fire crews responded to a one vehicle rollover last week that killed one passenger and sent another to the hospital. The accident occured on mines road close to the Sta. Isabel creek. The survivior had to be extricated using the Jaws of Life. Paramedics initially treated his injuries on scene. He was then transported to Dr's hospital for treatment and further care.
Bees sting Mother and child
Fire received reports of bees sting the residents of a home at the 1800 block of Flores. Fire crews arrived on scene and treated a mother and child who sustained multiple bee stings. They were transported to Dr's hospital for further observation and treatment. Neighbors were advised to stay inside. Animal control was called to asses the hive.
